In one of the posts where I explained the how Kinect works, I said that wouldn't be strange that it will be use to build robots. Now are emerging the first robotic machines that someday will rebel and will begin to kill humans. Here I talk about some of them. Deep in "Robots, Kinect and the SLAM problem"

In this post I'm going to explain something quite basic, but a lot of people unknown or simply don't understand well.
I'm going to clarify why the algorithms (sequence of steps that has to realizy a computer to complete a determinate task), are execute more faster in hardware than in software. Enter into "Any algorithm in hardware is faster than in software"

The fractal geometry, makes reference to geometrical objects fractured, is a mathematical tool very powerful to represent in a computer and, with fidelity, structures that we can find, either in the nature or some things created by the man. Furthermore allows realize simulations more accurate of all kind of natural phenomenons. Also it's applied, in certain situations, to resolve all kind of problems. Would you like know how are made? The RSA is an encription algorithm of public key more used in the world. Its security increases exponentially with every bit that we add to the encription key, hence nobody have achieved break its security and maybe nobody do it never. If you want know how are posible the secure bank transactions over Internet, or how can be signed digitally e-mails and documents, besides of other things, follow reading. Don't stop reading the rest of "RSA: the security of your money depends of it"

The travelling salesman is a problem computationally expensive to calculate. Its complexity is exponential and, therefore, is in the category of the problems that can't be solved in a polynomial time, in other words, it's as say that an actual computer can take a lot of millennia in get the solution to the problem. If we can get the result in less time will be useful to salesmen, transport agencies, postmen, distributors, infinity of fabrication process, DNA analysis and a lot of more situations. The SIGGRAPH is the annual conference of computer graphics most important of the world where converge the art and the science. This conference it's performed since the year 1974 and in this post I'm going to present the science papers, animations and inventions that more have attracted my attention of the SIGGRAPH of this year that ended in July. Not a lot of time ago has been resumed one of my favourite series, Futurama, realized by Matt Groenning, the creator of the Simpson.
Between the scriptwriters of Futurama are involved several scientist that provides continuously references to the science. In this post I'm going to explain the cryptography used in the series for code some alien inscriptions. Don't left of read the rest of "The Futurama code: First part"
