Formerly, when still the CRT (Cathodic Ray Tube) monitors were in use, emerge the myth of cactus that absorb the monitor radiations. This swindle probably was thought by some illuminated herbalist that saw the bulky filters antiradiaton that was putting in front of the screen. Surely though that he can win a lot of money selling cactus as substitute of this filters, because a cactus is a lot of more nice and friendly than an authentic filter antiradiation. There is a big lack of knowledge about how is measured the quantity of information in a computer. It is a fact that storage device sellers and Internet providers have take advantage to cheat us. Also, not a lot of time ago was changed the nomenclature of the international system of information units generating even more confusion. How many times have you hear, told or wrote the expression X megs of bandwidth. I'm sure that a lot of times, because the continued use of this phrase, have been converted in the regular way of talking of all the people and is totally incorrect. Something seemed happens when say that we weight 154 pounds, being the pound a unit of mass and not of weight. We must say: "I weight 70 kiloponds" or "I weight 154 pounds-force". Follow reading if you want to know why the case of the megs of bandwidth, also is incorrect. Fill your mind with "The Megs of bandwidth doesn't exists"

A lot of people think that a computer specialist is someone that knows how use all the software that exists and have been existed on the world, in any operating system of any kind of computer or movile device. Can be an architecture sorftware, photographic retouching, accounting or the management software tailor-made only for his enterprise, don't mind!, as is a computer specialist, has to know use them. The private enterprises and the public administrations in Spain lead a lot of time having to pay a digital tax to the SGAE (an entity seemed to the RIAA in America or PRS in UK). From now they haven't to do it and they can demand the SGAE the money of this illegal tax. But the Spanish govern isn't the responsible that has avoided that the SGAE had collected the money, but a demand of a computer shop that have arrived to the Court of Justice of the European Union. Unfortunately a lot of people, thinks that design a relational database is something very simple and that anyone that have a pair of classes of Microsoft Access in a academy can dedicate to it. But doesn't occur the same when instead of a database the work is about design a flat, an airplane or a car. In all this cases the people knows that needs an architect, an aeronautic engineer and automobile engineer, respectively. But who has the guilty of this way of think? The past month died three great geniuses that had made that the computing be as it is today. I'm referring to John MacCarthy, Dennis Ritchie and Steve Jobs. Probably you only know who is the last, which is the only one that has had media coverage. However is the less important, because if the other two had not existed, Steve Jobs perhaps wouldn't have achieved anything.
