Bionic eye
Through the optical nerves, our eyes are connected to the visual cortex or cortex V1 located in the back part of the brain. If we decode the way in that the retinas of our eyes encode the information and how is interpreted after by the brain, we could connect a cable on the rear part of the head of a person to recreate in the brain an alternative reality. This seems take it from the script of Matrix, have already done to return the vision the blinds. Read all about of "The bionic eye"

Watson
From the years 60 are being developed question answering systems. I'm talking about applications capable of answer to questions realized by humans. At that time only was possible do systems restricted to a concrete context, as BASEBALL and LUNAR, that answer to questions about footbal players of EEUU and lunar stones, respectively. Since them these systems have been evolved a lot of and every time we are more near of achieve an AI with a level of knowledge of the world similar to the human beings. Cyborg insect
Not a lot of time ago are being developing cyborg insects. The main idea is quite simple, if the brain of the animals works with electrical impulses and the circuits too, instead of have to build a mechanical robot, we can use the bilogical hardware of the insect, connecting to it a chip in the brain, that will apply the appropiate electrical impulses to control it. RGB additive mixture

The RGB color model is a great invention which allows that with the mixture of different intensities of red, green and blue, any monitor or television can reproduce the colors of the reality. But ... how is it achieve? and why the colors of the model aren't others? The answer is in our eyes.

The retina is the part of the eye where we capture the light, and this is made thanks to a kind of modified neurons for detect photons: the rods and the cones.
