Surely that all of you know the image files ".JPG", and if you don't, you must know that your mobile, digital camera, web cam, tablet PC, etc., do photos in that format. Its use has proliferated so much because allow reduce the size of the image without compression 10 times, without we notice that the quality has been reduced, and this is achieved thanks to the application in the compression algorithm of the knowledge that we have of the eye. In an epoch in that only were a few mechanic calculators, Alan Turing, was able to define the working, the limits and the possibilities of the computers. He not only was ahead to his epoch, but also to the actual and if had not been suicided, probably he would invented something that would convert the computers in something obsolete. At the prior post we saw how the computers are every time more fast due to the increase of density of the transistors linked to its continuous size reduction. By one hand, the augment of transistor allow make more operations by second, and by the other hand, decrease its size allows enhance the clock frequency, but this second way of optimization was stalled at 2003.
